Legal employers expect new hires to arrive on Day One with cost-effective research skills. Completing a Lexis Nexis Certification course is an effective way to build, highlight, and market your skill set! Start with Proficiency Certification to reinforce the research lessons you learned in your research and writing class. Next, complete Practice-Ready Certification to learn the practical research skills attorneys use every day in the practice of law.

Completing each part of the LexisNexis Certification program not only gives you the skills employers expect. Your name will be added to the LexisNexis Certification Registry and you’ll also be able to add both certifications to your resume and LinkedIn profile.

Step 3: Level UP Your LinkedIn with Skills, Certifications, & Endorsements

After completing Lexis Practice Ready Certification (see Step 2 above), add "LexisNexis Legal Research" to your LinkedIn Skills (here's how to do that). Did you know that members with 5+ skills listed are discovered up to 27 times more often in searches?!?

Once you've added the LexisNexis Legal Research Skill to your profile, connect with me, and I'll endorse you for that skill (please fill out this form so that I know you're ready for the endorsement)!
